Tamol® NN 9104 is the sodium salt of a condensation product of naphthalene - sulfonic acid with formaldehyde. It has a low degree of polycondensation and is identified by the inclusion of a four-digit number in the product name. This product is used as a laking agent and to disperse polishing and abrasive ingredients in powder form in emulsions for polishes and cleaners. In this specific case it is necessary to take into account the fact that it is already out of date, which can have an influence on the product's characteristics and consequently on its final application.
