Tixosil 38 is a micronised silica powder with anticaking function. It's also a white milled powder that has an high absorption capacity which helps processing of powders making them easier to manipulate, transport and use. This type of products are used as a support for acids, pigments and aromas. They are designed to transform naturally liquid products into free-flowing powders, to absorb excess fat and for their function as an anti-caking agent in milk replacement powders. In this specific case it is necessary to take into account the fact that it is already out of date, which can have an influence on the product's characteristics and consequently on its final application.
